Prepare for a committee
“Have your plan challenged before you present it.”
A committee rarely judges a plan on what it contains. It judges it on the first question you cannot answer. This stress test is there to find that question before the committee does.
“Prepare for a committee” is the stress test offered by Hundred Miles, a strategy consulting firm in Paris. Contrarian AI agents attack your plan and a senior consultant sorts their objections: within 72 hours you receive up to ten blind spots and the three questions your committee is likely to ask, for €890 excl. VAT.

What executives send us once the NDA is signed
- The strategic plan you are presenting to the executive committee or the board.
- The business plan for a project, a subsidiary or a new offering.
- The acquisition business plan before your bank’s credit committee.
- The AI position paper your board asked you for.
- Your response to a strategic tender, reviewed from the bidder’s side before submission. For leaders of IT services and digital firms, who often have ten days to finalise it.
Your own documents only. In this format, we do not review a deliverable produced for a third party.

What a report looks like
Extract · sample report
2027-2029 strategic plan of a 240-person IT services firm, for approval by the supervisory board
-
The plan relies on an average day rate of €680 over three years. Two of your three largest clients have announced a review of their purchases of professional services in 2027: no downside scenario is costed.
-
The €1.2m invested in the AI offering has no stop milestone. The board will ask what signal would make you stop, and the question has never been raised.
-
Two different headcounts for the Data unit: 38 on page 12, 45 on page 31. Nobody has spotted the gap, but it will be spotted in the meeting.
The three questions your board is likely to ask
- “What happens to the margin if your largest client cuts its volumes by 20%?”
- “How do you make sure your AI tools are actually adopted?”
- “Why invest now rather than after the 2026 year-end close?”
The note: ten blind spots to look for in a plan before the committee
The process
72 hours in four steps
Order, NDA and upload
Online payment or a thirty-minute call. You receive the signed NDA and a dedicated upload link within eight working hours. The 72 hours start at upload.
The panel
- Favourable reading
- Contradiction
- Figure checks
One agent builds the most favourable reading, a second, from a different model family, attacks it, and a third checks the consistency of the figures. The agents run on Nestor advAIsor, the framing platform we are developing, drawing on a catalogue of documented analysis frameworks rather than on the model’s improvisation.
The review
Ninety minutes of senior review. We discard what does not hold and add what the machines missed.
The report
Delivered as a PDF within 72 hours. A question to clarify a point? We answer in writing.
Full version
€2,400 excl. VAT, when the stakes justify it
A forty-five-minute interview before the review, to understand what the document does not say. A one-hour debrief with the people you choose. A second version of the report after your corrections.
It is ordered after a call: the interview needs preparing.
NextIf the committee approves and an action plan is needed, a one-week scoping assignment at €4,900 excl. VAT produces a scheduled, prioritised plan. One-page executive memo on request, to prepare your decisions.
Questions
What clients ask us before ordering
My document is confidential. Where does it go?
NDA signed before upload. Processing on the Nestor advAIsor infrastructure, hosted by Scaleway in France. Models called under terms that exclude training on your data. Deletion thirty days after delivery, with a certificate on request. Full details on the Method and security page.
Can ChatGPT review my business plan?
Yes, and it is a good first pass. A single model will give you twenty plausible objections without ranking them: it does not know which ones your committee will raise. Here, two model families contradict each other, and a senior consultant who has been facing committees since 1999 sorts them.
How should I prepare to present a strategic plan to the board?
Start by looking for the question you cannot answer: that is the one the board will judge the plan on. The team that wrote the document can no longer see it. You need an outside reading by someone who knows committees. That is what the stress test does: in 72 hours, up to ten ranked blind spots and the three questions your board is likely to ask.
What will the bank ask about my acquisition business plan?
One question comes back in several forms: how much revenue is left once the seller has gone? The account manager looks for the assumption that rests on the seller, such as long-standing clients that no contract ties to the business. The stress test reads your plan through the bank’s eyes before the credit committee, and points to the page where it will stop.
How is this different from my accountant’s financial forecast?
Your accountant builds the forecast from your assumptions. The stress test attacks those assumptions the way your committee will, and picks up the discrepancies nobody has seen: in our sample report, two different headcounts for the same team, on page 12 and page 31. The two pieces of work complement each other, and we certify no figures.
What if my document is not finished?
Send the version you have. A plan that is 80% done already has its blind spots, and it is better to see them while there is still time to deal with them.
Who reads it, exactly?
The senior consultant in charge of your file. Our AI architect designs the agents but never reads client files. No one outside the team has access to your document.
Does this report replace an audit?
No. We do not certify your figures and we do not rewrite your document: it remains yours. The report tells you where it will be attacked.
How much does a business plan review cost?
€890 excl. VAT for the stress test, report within 72 hours, refunded if no blind spot tells you anything new (request within seven days of delivery). €2,400 excl. VAT for the full version, with an interview before the reading, a one-hour debrief and a second version of the report. The document itself remains yours to write.
How do payment and invoicing work?
By card, on Stripe’s secure payment page: a VAT invoice is emailed to you. Or on invoice: email us your purchase order, or order after a thirty-minute call; invoice payable on receipt. For businesses only.
