Version of 27 September 2026
Terms of sale
For business customers only. Any order implies acceptance of these terms. This English version is provided for convenience; the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the consulting services sold by Hundred Miles, SARL with share capital of €68,852, Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) 790 497 952, to clients acting for the purposes of their business. They do not apply to consumers.
2. Orders
Services with a published price (“Prepare for a committee”, “Before you hand in your report”) are ordered by online payment, after express acceptance of these terms on the payment page, or by a purchase order referring to these terms. Other services are subject to a quote; the order becomes binding on signature of the quote and payment of the deposit.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are stated excluding VAT; VAT at the applicable rate is added. Services with a published price are paid on order. Quoted services require a 50% deposit on order, with the balance invoiced on delivery and payable thirty days from the invoice date.
Any late payment incurs penalties equal to three times the French statutory interest rate and a fixed sum of €40 as compensation for recovery costs (Articles L. 441-10 and D. 441-5 of the French Commercial Code).
4. Turnaround and capacity
The 72-hour turnaround runs from receipt of the complete document, excluding weekends and public holidays. Hundred Miles handles at most three reviews a week; if the week is full, a start date is offered to the client, who may then cancel the order and receive a full refund.
5. Refund guarantee
For “Prepare for a committee” and “Before you hand in your report”: if the client considers that none of the blind spots in the report gave them new information, they are entitled to a full refund on written request sent within seven days of delivery. Once per client.
6. Cancellation and postponement
Before the document is uploaded, an order can be cancelled and fully refunded. A seminar can be postponed at no cost up to ten working days before the scheduled date; after that, the deposit is retained.
7. Confidentiality and data
Hundred Miles undertakes to keep the client’s documents and information confidential, signs a confidentiality agreement before any upload and deletes documents and reports thirty days after delivery. The terms for processing personal data are set out in the legal notice and, on request, in a data processing agreement (GDPR Article 28).
8. Nature of the services
Hundred Miles is bound by an obligation of means (obligation de moyens): it undertakes to perform the services with due care, without guaranteeing a result. Reports and recommendations support decision-making; the client alone decides. They are neither an audit, nor a certification, nor legal, tax or accounting advice.
9. Intellectual property
The client may use the deliverables internally from delivery; the corresponding rights vest in the client upon full payment. Bespoke developments made for the client (code, flows, documentation) are assigned to the client upon full payment. Hundred Miles retains ownership of its methods, tools and analysis frameworks; the Nestor advAIsor platform remains the property of Hundred Miles and Pierre Courrieu. Where applicable, the client receives a non-exclusive right to use the components built into its deliverables.
10. Liability
The liability of Hundred Miles is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned and excludes indirect loss, including loss of business and loss of chance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Paris Commercial Court, known as the Paris Economic Activities Court (tribunal des activités économiques de Paris) during the pilot scheme running until 31 December 2028.
